Hi, I'm Sean

I’m Sean Stacey, a professional equine sport and portrait photographer based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, serving clients throughout Texas and across the U.S. I specialize in fine-art equine portraits, private horse show coverage, and senior photography for riders who want their bond with their horse beautifully captured and remembered for a lifetime.

My journey into photography began long before it became my career—over 20 years ago behind the lens as a passionate hobbyist, and then professionally in 2022. Horses have been part of my family’s story for years, and it was through my daughter’s love of riding that I discovered my own passion for equestrian sport. Today, I combine my artistic eye with an insider’s respect for the athleticism, grace, and partnership between horse and rider. Whether it’s the quiet moments at the barn or the thrill of a clean round in the ring, I aim to tell the complete story—one frame at a time.

As both a USEF member and Safe Sport certified photographer, I understand the importance of professionalism, safety, and respect within the equestrian community. I’m also proud to be a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Texas PPA, and the Dallas PPA since 2022—continuing to learn, refine, and elevate my craft among other talented professionals.

Before photography became my full-time calling, I spent 25 years in corporate America as a business leader at BNSF Railway. That experience taught me discipline, integrity, and the importance of delivering on promises—qualities I bring to every photo session and every client relationship.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me spending time with my wife, Shelli, our four amazing children, three loyal dogs, and one very special horse. Family, animals, and storytelling are at the heart of everything I do—and that love shines through every image I create.
